FFXIII ‘n XII

If I had to pick a franchise that hooked me to the RPG world of video games, final fantasy would be it. Just like a book series, it has it’s bad games (IX bleh), and it’s excellant games (VII or VI or etc). The trailer for Final Fantasy 13 has been featured at E3. See here. Click on the trailer on the May 8th listing. I couldn’t get the first one to load.

It looks freaking sweet. And its also suppose to be released with the PS3. I’m so excited. Not to mention, another female heroine? ABOUT FREAKING TIME! *claps hands*

On the flip side, FFXII is suppose to be released for the PS2 later this year. Hopefully soon. It’s another game I’ve been looking forward too. I mean, check out one of the sweet character designs. *points to left* The game play also looks interesting and different from the typical turn based system. See here. This one is based on the world created in FF: Tactics. The name escapes me at the moment. There is an unofficial site here.

And let us not forget the expansions being added to FFVII: Before Crisis, Crisis Core, and the Dirge of Cerberus. Alot of things to look forward too, let’s hope square isn’t overdoing it and the games don’t fail to meet expectations.
