La La LLLAAA
My eyes are going crossed from staring at data numbers that KL let build up over the last few months. Heh, yeah, I’m the grunt so it ends up all dumped on me. At least I’m away from the lab for a while… but, I feel strangely alone.
Me? Crave social situations? The thought confuses me.
Sunday was relaxing. I lazed around most of the day, working on the various projects that I have interests in. I’m trying to finish yet another blanket for a certain someone’s birthday. I don’t think I’m going to make it. The pattern is alot more complicated than the previous two blankets I crochetted earlier this summer (pics coming soon). I keep screwing up a row and have to pull it all back out.
Beyond that, nothing else is really happening.
I think I’m going to be internet deprived later this week. It looks as if I’m headed to a place about 3 hours west of here to work up some soils investigations for a future project. Yay… I get to go dig holes (and not with a shovel, with a backhoe!). KL is going to go out with me the first day to show me the site/where to dig/etc and then I’m on my own.
That’s a scary thought as well.
Anyways, here’s my attempt to get back into the habit of posting regularly again.
::sighs:: I miss Joe.
Interenet deprived? Will you be in the woods? That company should supply you with a laptop, with wireless capabilities and a hotel with free internet. My old company that sent me out of town wouldn’t do it so I just bought by own. Better that way because I got what I wanted versus some Dell.
August 28th, 2006 at 9:05 pmI love crocheting. Despite the fact that I’m terrible at it, it’s so relaxing.
Oooo, heavy equipment. That sounds like fun.
August 29th, 2006 at 4:43 amOMG! I love crocheting .. :alright:
August 29th, 2006 at 6:10 amUnfortunatly my wrists don’t agree.
Thao - lol I have a very expensive laptop for work. But it’s one of those hick towns. So I’m greatly doubting the possibility of there being even a basic dsl connection. Although, I could be surprised possibly… we’ll see
Star - I prefer it over knitting (one needle is just better than two). My grandmother taught me both and then also tatting. Crocheting was the first thing I learned… and I always end up going back to it. :heehee:
Krome - That’s why you do a little here and a little there. My wrists usually don’t bother me. It’s my fingers that do because they tend to cramp up since I do my stitches tight. :pleased:
