My Curse
So, I’m back in Elko. The second hole that needed to be drilled, never happened. The hydraulic pump blew. Then again, when it’s -18 out in the early morning, what can you expect?
The drillers are on their way back to their shop in Idaho to find a replacement. There’s one there, but they aren’t sure if it’s the right model. As it is, I’ll be back out at Mount Hope come tuesday. Hopefully…
My curse strikes again… It never fails with me and drillers. Something always goes wrong. I’m so going to get teased at work for this.
So, there was a bunch of other news to share that I totally blanked on. Remember that condo I was trying to get? Well, it’s as good as mine. I’ve been approved and the current owner accepted my offer. The close date is at the end of this month. I can’t wait. I am so excited.
The drawback? I have to pack. I hate packing. Then again, I’m looking at it this way, it’ll probably be the last time I’ll have to move for the next few years, especially since I’ll own the place.
Can you hear purring too?
I’m also going to see Joe before he leaves for Afghanistan in february. This month feels overwhelmingly busy.
I don’t think things are going to be slowing down anytime soon either…
On a side note, avoid browsing the site as much as possible. I’m reorganizing yet again… and well.. not all the links are in fine working condition. But I wanted to put the new template up pretty badly… I like it alot better than the last one… ::whistles::
Hi! thanks for visiting my site. I saw where you said in this post that this month was overwhelmingly busy, I hope this will get less busy for you!

Thanks for stopping by

Congrats on the condo! That’s so exciting!
January 14th, 2007 at 7:01 pmConga-rats on the home purchase. I don’t think there is a single person who really likes packing and unpacking boxes full of their stuff. The unpacking part ends up taking almost a year in certain instances. Especially when you do not have much free time to spare after work.
Have fun with the new layout… again.
January 15th, 2007 at 6:30 amKim - Thanks! It is exciting
Karnov - Thanks! I think that’s true… if I was only moving once every 2 or 3 years it wouldn’t be so killer. Good thing I haven’t been able to accumulate alot of things in the last 6 months.
