Battle Continued
Not with my HOA, but with my personal health issues. I was suppose to get a catscan last week but that didn’t happen because my doctor’s office ordered it wrong. I have to have contrast, which means I have to drink nasty stuff.
While I was sitting in the reception area, one of the other gals in there went in and came back out trying to choke the stuff out. Watching her gag made me wonder if it was really worth trying to find out if there’s a tumor on my androgen gland or not. Yes, that’s why I have to have cats done.
When my bloodwork came back I became an “interesting” case. While that’s good for my doctor, he basically said it’s not always good to be an “interesting” case. I’m just happy that someone is finally listening to me and following through in trying to figure out what’s wrong with me. Not having my cycle for nearly a year and having abnormal hair growth should have keyed previous doctors in on something. The levels that tell me to ovulate should have a ratio of 2:1. Mine was a ratio of 6:1. My androgen levels (the equivalent to male testostorone), was at 2000. Normal is 900.
My cats have been pushed off until May 1st, which is starting to make me antsy. I have to wait longer in trying to find a reason for my problems or for my doctor to fully confirm the diagnosis of PCOS. I don’t like waiting.
So, I was in Reno this weekend retaking my FE. I’m not saying how I did or if I did any better than last time. I keep getting asked though. I told DW that I nailed the geotech questions, he laughed and told me, “Well I would hope so.” This little set back hasn’t stopped me from looking to start my master’s in the fall. But, I’ll divulge more of that later.
Other than that, I miss Joe. I haven’t heard from him in several weeks. This has resulted in me trying to dig up information on Ghazni FOB… which I haven’t found a whole lot of…
Odd issues. I hope the figure out what is causing your interesting levels. Hopefully it is nothing too major.
April 24th, 2007 at 3:59 pmIt is the first of the month so I hope all goes well and you don’t get too sick on the nasty concoction they make you drink. I hope it turns out to be nothing major as well.
