Wistful
I keep reading about B Sheep’s hobby hole and I feel envious. This would be the third night I’ve had cancelled for work because of weather and I keep thinking about how the room I’m working on could be finished about now. All I had to do was paint the ceiling, add a second coat of paint, install extra shelves in the closet (I’ve converted it into a work space for my PMC and beading with a shelf and a home made style desk), make curtains, and put up the new light cover (there’s never been one since I moved in… a fan would be nice, but I have a fear of electricity). There’s more that I have planned, but a little at a time right?
I think what makes me more wistful is that, especially on nights like these, I start surfing online, my fingers itching to purchase things. I broke done and bought some more craft books (as if my library wasn’t already big enough). This particular one has me excited. There are definitely a lot of possibilities centering on this book. Not to mention, thrift store raiding for tossed baskets. Add in playing with ribbon and glue and I’ll be a little kid again.
Can’t you do a Mr. Bean (if you’ve heard of him) and just put some explosives, in your line of work that should be no trouble, then, drop the lit explosives into a BIG tin of paint and then run. e voila…the paintings done.
