I haven't been camping in years. I haven't wanted to, but suddenly it sounds kind of fun.

Titles are funny. Sometimes I wonder if companies try to give employees fancy sounding titles as a means of compensation and skimp a bit on the pay. Americans' pay keeps dropping, but our job titles keep getting more authoritative and important.

Rick - Others were teasing me about becoming an EEP too (which is kind of fitting). Although, I have to say that your initials take the cake.

Darvin - I never really thought of it like that... :cute:

I love getting strange titled positions at work. It just means it will look better on your resume.

I like that 'play pretend' part and I think you have hit the nail on it's head. In my experience the work floor and to a lesser extent the 'school floor' is full of pretending, especially office/white collar work. Take my work for example, we have more managers than actual workers, they all have obscure titles like interior care manager (cleaner) but with these new 'pretend' titles comes a bigger wage packet so good for them. Anyway congrats on the new EEP title, don't forget to let us all know what it involves when you do start doing EEP work. My new title is PISS (Programmer internal security systems), not sure if I like the title but maybe I deserve it...
