I think some women prefer to deny it or not talk about it because it's just one more way they can bitch about men. ;) Just kidding. I think it might have more to do with the fact that in our Puritan-based society sexual women are still seen as bad women. If only Europe had kept their nutjobs Jefferson, Paine, Adams, and the like may have made a bigger cultural impact here. Of course women have those same instincts.
